The major principles of non-formal education are to be open to all, with voluntary participation without fear of assessment, flexibility in organization and timing, learning based on the needs and interests of participants, and the ability to work at different speeds and in different ways. 

The methods used are very diverse and based on the creation of an environment of trust and the sharing of experiences.

Our approach of learning and transmission is based on Rosemary Morrow’s Permaculture Teaching Matters, using participatory tools and methods from non-formal education.
